The first step, after the shower

Energizing Body Oil for Morning Vitality

Italian lemon and sweet orange lead, bergamot and a thread of fir follow close behind.

Press it into skin straight out of the morning shower and it works less like a scent and more like a signal that the day has started. No sugar in it, just bright citrus over something a little green underneath.

Scent — Italian lemon and sweet orange, bergamot, a thread of fir. Bright, clean, not sugary.

Why this one

An amber glass bottle, which keeps citrus oils from breaking down under light the way clear glass would

  • Avocado, jojoba, and wheat germ oil handle the actual moisturizing here, so this isn't scent poured over nothing
  • Keep it away from direct sun and use it within the year, while the citrus is still sharp instead of faded.
Overview

Three carrier oils do the work here: avocado for richness, jojoba because it sinks in fast, wheat germ as the base underneath. Italian lemon, sweet orange, bergamot, and a little Siberian fir ride on top, bright and clean rather than sugary. Press it into skin still damp from the shower and there's no greasy film left behind, just fed, soft skin and a low citrus trace that carries into the rest of the morning. It's built for the two minutes between the shower and getting dressed, when skin is tight and the day hasn't started arguing with you yet.

How to use

Warm three or four drops between your palms and press over skin straight out of the shower, while it's still damp. Use ten to twelve drops for the full body, three or four if you're only doing pulse points, and press it in rather than rubbing. It's dry to the touch in about a minute.

Delivery & returns

What’s in it

Three oils, one bright note.

Citrus alone evaporates fast and leaves nothing behind for skin. We back it with avocado for richness, jojoba to sink in quick, and wheat germ underneath, so the brightness has something real to feed skin with.

Monsuri ENERGY citrus nourishing body oil — a lightweight, fast-absorbing morning body oil that pairs uplifting Sicilian lemon and orange aromatherapy with silky, nourished skin.
  • Avocado oil

    the richness

The heavier oil in the blend, the part that leaves skin feeling fed, not just coated.

  • Jojoba oil

    the quick-in

Closest to skin’s own oil, so it sinks in instead of sitting on the surface.

  • Wheat germ oil

    the base

The soft, nourishing base the lemon and orange ride in on.

How it feels

Gone in a minute: no shine, no residue.

On damp skin it disappears before you've picked an outfit. Dry to the touch, nothing left on a white shirt. What stays is soft skin and a bright, low trace of citrus that doesn't turn heavy by noon.

Straight answer

Doesn’t an oil feel greasy?

Lightweight and quick to sink in. Used the way it’s meant to be, it leaves no greasy film. Here’s the whole trick:

  1. A few drops, not a pour: three or four go further than you’d think.
  2. On damp skin, straight from the shower. The water helps it spread thin and sink in.
  3. Press it in, don’t rub, and wait a minute. It’s dry to the touch before you’ve dressed.

Dry to the touch in about a minute. What stays is the soft, and a bright trace of the citrus.

ENERGY body oil scent journey: bright Sicilian lemon and sweet Brazilian orange settling into warm Italian bergamot and fresh Siberian fir — bright, fresh, warm, clean.

The ritual

How to use it

  1. Warm it, then press

Warm a few drops between your palms, then press over your arms, legs, and shoulders. Don’t rub.

  2. Straight from the shower

The first bright step of the morning, on skin that’s still damp and warm.

  3. One slow breath

Cup your hands over your face for one slow breath before you start — that’s where the citrus lands.

Questions

Everything you might wonder.

Is this an energizing body oil, or just a natural moisturizer?

Both jobs, one bottle. Italian lemon and sweet orange over bright bergamot and a thread of Siberian fir do the bright-morning-scent job, while avocado, jojoba, and wheat germ oil do the real moisturizing work, sinking in without a greasy film.

When should I use it?

Right after your morning shower, on damp skin. That's when it absorbs fastest and the citrus scent carries best into the rest of your day.

Will it leave a greasy residue on clothes, or do I need to use a lot?

Neither. It's dry to the touch in about a minute, and a little goes a long way: three or four drops cover the areas that matter, so you end up using less than you'd expect.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

It's essential oils in a carrier-oil base, not synthetic fragrance, so patch-test first if you're reactive to citrus oils specifically, and check with your provider if you're pregnant or nursing.
