For the day that was too much
Roman chamomile, apple-sweet and herbal, over ylang ylang and rosewood, with a thread of bergamot, pre-diluted in golden jojoba: the soft roller, the one for the end of a day that was too much.
Two passes on the wrists, hands up, one slow breath of apple-sweet chamomile. It is the roller we tuck into the sympathy boxes and the thinking-of-you boxes, because it says the thing without words. For the friend in a hard week, and for your own nightstand.
Scent — Roman chamomile over ylang ylang and rosewood, with a thread of bergamot. Soft, warm, a little sweet.

Four oils in golden jojoba. Roman chamomile from England leads: not the thin tea-bag chamomile, the fresh one, sweet like a cut apple and faintly herbal. Madagascar ylang ylang and Brazilian rosewood sit underneath and make it warm; Italian bergamot keeps it from going heavy.
It goes on dry and stays close, at the wrist and the collar, so it is a scent for you rather than for the room.
As a gift it is the quiet one. It is the roller inside our Hug in a Box and Thinking of You sets, and on its own it fits in a card: for the friend going through it, the new mom at week three, the person you cannot fix anything for but can send something small and kind. It ships in the eight-roller set too, as the Cozy-Hug blend.
Roll it over the pulse points: inner wrists, temples, the back of the neck. Two or three passes is the whole thing. Then bring your wrists up and breathe in slowly, three or four times. It is pre-diluted in golden jojoba, so it goes straight on skin with nothing to add, and you can roll again later in the day. Cap it between uses and keep it out of direct sun. The blend carries bergamot: keep that skin out of strong sun after rolling.
Golden jojoba oil, Roman chamomile (England), ylang ylang (Madagascar), rosewood (Brazil), bergamot (Italy) essential oils.
The oils are already diluted in the jojoba, which is why the roller goes straight on skin. The blend carries bergamot: keep that skin out of strong sun after rolling. Patch-test a new blend on a small area first, and check with your provider before using it if you are pregnant or nursing.
Picked & packed by hand from our North Salt Lake warehouse, usually the same business day — arriving in 2–5 business days (no express). Not quite right when it lands? Free returns within 30 days.
What’s in it
Roman chamomile is the heart of this roller, and it is sweeter and fresher than the tea. Ylang ylang and rosewood warm it; bergamot lifts it. All four are pre-diluted in golden jojoba so there is nothing to mix.

What the oils ride in. It absorbs close to skin, so the roller goes on dry rather than greasy.
English Roman chamomile: apple-sweet and lightly herbal, the note you catch first when you bring your wrist up.
Madagascar ylang ylang and Brazilian rosewood make it soft and warm underneath; Italian bergamot keeps it light.
Straight answer
Not this one. Roman chamomile oil is sweeter and greener than a tea bag, closer to a cut apple with a herb beside it, and the ylang ylang and rosewood underneath turn it warm rather than thin. The bergamot is there so it never gets syrupy. It is a soft scent, on purpose: the point of this roller is that it asks nothing of you.

The ritual
Inner wrists, temples, the back of the neck: two or three passes where the skin is thin. It is pre-diluted, so it goes straight on.
On the sofa after the door closes, or on the nightstand before the lights go off. Bring your wrists up and breathe in slowly.
When you do not know what to write, this roller in a card does the job. Cap it between uses and keep it out of direct sun.

Questions
Soft and warm. Roman chamomile first, sweet like a cut apple and a little herbal, then ylang ylang and rosewood underneath, with bergamot keeping it light. It is the softest-smelling of the eight blends.
Inner wrists, temples or the back of the neck, two or three passes. Then bring your wrists up and breathe in slowly a few times. It is pre-diluted in golden jojoba, so there is nothing to mix.
It is the one we reach for. It is the roller inside our Hug in a Box and Thinking of You sets, and on its own it slips into a card: small, quiet, and it does not ask the person to do anything. You can add a gift note to the order, and the packing slip shows no prices.
It is quiet on purpose. The scent sits at the wrist and the collar rather than in the room, and you catch it when you bring your hand to your face. If you want it back later, it is two passes away.
The blend carries bergamot, which can make skin more sensitive to strong sun for a while after it is applied. Roll the inside of the wrist or the back of the neck rather than skin that will be in full sun.
The oils are pre-diluted in jojoba, which is gentler than a neat essential oil, but patch-test a small area first if you are reactive, and check with your provider if you are pregnant or nursing.
