Why this one

What makes it different is the blend, not just the scent. Six notes, infused in-house: peppermint and eucalyptus out front, bergamot brightening the top, cedar warming the base, clove and a whisper of camphor underneath, tuned to read clean and crisp instead of sharp or medicinal. Most eucalyptus candles land like a cough drop; this one lands like the air after rain.

The coconut-soy wax carries no paraffin and no petroleum. It burns slow and even, about 45 hours, and the pure cotton wick holds a steady flame that pools edge to edge instead of tunneling. Amber glass and a brass lid keep the scent true between burns; every candle arrives gift-ready in Monsuri's minimalist box, kraft shred included.

This is the candle for someone who wants their space to feel awake, not cozy. Cool over warm. Crisp over sweet. That's the whole trade.

Overview

By 2 p.m. the home office has turned into a cave: stale air, a foggy head, the cursor blinking on the same paragraph for ten minutes straight. This is the candle for that exact room. Six notes, infused in-house: peppermint and eucalyptus lead, cool and bright, bergamot lifts the top, cedar sits underneath to keep it from going sharp, and a whisper of clove and camphor stops the whole blend from tipping medicinal. Strike the match and the air changes before anything else does.

It burns close to 45 hours, steady and even, in coconut-soy wax with no paraffin. Light it at the desk when the afternoon's gone flat, first thing on a slow morning, or right after a workout when the room still feels close. As a gift, it reads fresh and cool rather than warm and sweet. The pick for someone who wants their space to feel awake, not cozy.

How to use

Trim the cotton wick to a quarter inch before every light, then hold the flame until the whole wick catches. On the first burn, give it two to three hours so the wax melts all the way to the edge. That even pool is what keeps it from tunneling every time after. Burn in two-to-three-hour sessions to catch the full shift from bright mint to warm woods, keep the flame clear of drafts, and stop at about half an inch of wax left. Replace the brass lid between uses and store out of direct sunlight to keep the blend true.

Scent, in full

Cooling peppermint and bright eucalyptus first, settling into bergamot over gentle cedar, with soft clove and a light camphor whisper underneath. Six notes infused in-house, tuned to read clean and crisp rather than sweet: the kind of cool, open air that makes a stale room feel aired out and a foggy afternoon feel sharp again.

Straight answer

Cool and clean, not warm and sweet.

This one is brisk. Eucalyptus and peppermint over clove and a whisper of camphor read cool and almost medicinal-clean, closer to a steam room than a cozy fireside. If you want a warm, sweet, dessert kind of candle, this isn’t it.

We keep it crisp on purpose: the point is a room that feels clean and aired out, not sugary.

The ritual

How to light it well

  1. Trim, then light

Trim the wick to a quarter inch, then hold the flame until the whole wick catches.

  2. When the air has gone stale

A slow morning, a long work session, the window you can’t open. Light it when the room needs freshening.

  3. Mind the first burn

Give the first burn two to three hours, so the wax melts all the way to the edge and pools evenly every time after.

Questions

Everything you might wonder.

What does the eucalyptus peppermint candle smell like?

Cool and crisp, not medicinal. Peppermint and eucalyptus lead, cut with bergamot and cedar and a whisper of clove and camphor underneath: six notes, infused in-house, tuned to read like the air after rain instead of a cough drop.

Is this candle good for a home office or desk?

Yes. It's built for exactly that: the room that's gone stale and the head that's gone foggy by mid-afternoon. Light it at the desk when focus won't come, or crack a window and let the air change fast.

How long does the eucalyptus peppermint candle burn?

About 45 hours from a 7 oz candle. Trim the cotton wick to a quarter inch before every light, and give the first burn two to three hours so the wax pools evenly edge to edge.

Is the wax paraffin-free?

Yes. It's coconut-soy wax with no paraffin and no petroleum, poured with a pure cotton wick and finished in amber glass with a brass lid.

How is this better than a plug-in air freshener?

A plug-in mostly layers synthetic fragrance over whatever's already in the air, and it runs whether you want it to or not. With the candle you decide when the room gets eucalyptus and peppermint, the amber glass looks better on a desk than plastic stuck to the wall, and it's real coconut-soy wax rather than a warmed fragrance cartridge.
